Job summary
AIA Singapore is seeking a Manager, Investment Risk to support the Head of Investment Analysis & Control in overseeing portfolio risk, performance and reporting for diverse asset classes. The role requires strong analytical skills and hands-on programming experience to drive risk analytics and system transitions.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in multi-asset risk, familiarity with risk frameworks, and experience with Python/R and data libraries to deliver actionable insights for risk
Qualifications
- Candidate holds an MSc in a technical discipline (Finance, Statistics, CS, Mathematics). CFA/FRM certifications are a plus.
- 7+ years of proven multi-asset portfolio risk, performance and attribution experience.
- Familiarity with risk and performance systems (BRS Aladdin, Bloomberg).
- Hands-on programming experience in Python/R with data manipulation libraries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct portfolio risk, performance and attribution analysis for portfolios and funds managed/advised by AIAIM.
- Assist in transitioning processes, reports and analytics to the new risk system.
- Monitor adherence to risk budgets, thresholds and KPIs/KRIs.
- Support new product reviews and risk assessments; assist governance and regulatory reporting.
