Job summary

Bank of Singapore invites exceptional professionals to join our team in Singapore. You will work with Investment Advisors to formulate investment strategies aligned with client targets and risk profiles, and disseminate house views to RMs and FIMs.

You will also create investment proposals and contribute to product ideation across equities, bonds, FX and structured products, while ensuring strict adherence to regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Banking.
• Preferably CFA and CACS certified.
• Strong knowledge of products across asset classes.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Future oriented mindset, strive to innovate and adapt to changes.
• Strong understanding of inter-dependencies within the team and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Investment Advisors to formulate investment strategies aligned with client’s target asset allocation objectives.
• Disseminate house views and product ideas to the RMs and FIMs.
• Create investment proposals based on criteria provided by the RMs for pitching purposes.
• Participate in product ideation and solutions by: (a) keeping abreast of products in the market; (b) proposing new product ideas; (c) promoting ideas approved and endorsed by the Product Council where applicable; (d) developing, monitoring and following up on new trading ideas related to cash equities, bonds, FX as well as structured products under ELNs, KODAs/DEKODAs, equity options, range accrual notes
• Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times
