Job summary

Multiflora NOIBARA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Full-time Inventory and Merchandising Specialist to oversee stock across company outlets and the warehouse in Singapore. You will conduct regular audits, track stock levels, and coordinate transfers to optimise inventory and reduce losses.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Travel between outlets and warehouse is expected to ensure accurate records and FEFO compliance.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of inventory control and stock management.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Able to analyse inventory data and identify discrepancies or trends.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable travelling between company outlets and warehouse for stock checks and audits.
• Responsible, systematic and able to maintain accurate records.
• Prior experience in inventory management, merchandising, retail operations, warehouse, purchasing or supply chain will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits across all company outlets and warehouse.
• Perform stock counts and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.
• Monitor stock movement, inventory levels, stock aging and stock turnover.
• Identify slow-moving, aging and near-expiry products and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate stock transfers between outlets to optimise inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
• Ensure FEFO procedures are consistently followed.
• Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns to clear slow-moving, aging and near-expiry inventory.
• Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop and prepare promotional materials and campaigns.
• Liaise with Operations, Warehouse and Outlet Managers regarding inventory requirements and stock-related issues.
• Conduct random stock audits to ensure proper inventory control and accountability.
• Prepare accurate weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• Analyse inventory data and identify opportunities to improve stock efficiency and reduce inventory losses.
• Monitor product availability across outlets and ensure stock is appropriately allocated according to operational needs.
