Job summary

Amcor Flexibles Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned warehouse leader to manage end-to-end supply chain operations from receiving to distribution.

You will guide the warehouse team, plan shifts, address contingencies, and coach staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Experience leading a team / project management experience.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of company information and data systems used by Procurement.
  • Experience in the selection of suppliers – inquiry and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • ISO9001 and 13485

Responsibilities

  • Lead the warehouse team, ensure end-to-end supply chain is managed according to plan.
  • Providing directions to team members, ensure work/shift are planned ahead, and all last-minute contingencies are addressed on time.
  • Coach and counsel team members.
  • Team engagement and manage attendance issues that may arise from time to time.
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Establishing and monitoring safety procedures and protocols and safeguards warehouse operations and contents through right processes and protocols.
  • Responsible to controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Accountable to Supply Chain Director, Finance Director and GM of SEA HC on any discrepancies found in stock count and report.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions and ensure actions are in place.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Attend to internal andexternal auditors from Customers or ISO 9001 and 13485.
  • Maintains warehouse staff byrecruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff jobresults by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning,monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort byaccomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepared to roll up the sleeves and run operations, including but not limited to, operating forklift, reach truck, VNA, etc.
  • Lead the Lean six sigma and 6Sefforts in warehouse.
  • Participate in any assignment/project as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, transportation) to streamline operations.
  • Leverage technology and automation tools for efficient warehouse management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
