LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore at Changi Airport manages inventory for its duty free stores, focusing on cycle counts and stock accuracy. The team partners with Operations, Finance and Logistics to uphold governance over the inventory portfolio and to minimize losses.

Ideal candidates possess a NITEC or Diploma in logistics, 1–2 years in a retail stores environment, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in logistics / supply chain.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail stores is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts and stock checks and report findings.
• Coordinate with Retail Operations to resolve inventory issues requiring physical checks.
• Validate count results with Inventory Planning Executive and assist Customs stock take.
• Maintain and update inventory records used for checking and validation.
• Check SKUs with source codes or price tags and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Work with Retail Operations to print new price tags for items with incorrect source codes.
• Process returns to warehouse in Glob+ and monitor breakages and damaged items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/Manager.

Job description

Objective

This role will based in Lotte Duty Free stores located in Changi Airport to collaborate with various department to contribute to the optimization and accuracy of inventory control management through strong governance of cycle counts, stock counts, loss prevention processes of inventory portfolio.

Relationships

The position needs to have strong collaboration with Operations, Finance and Logistics team

Key Activities

• Conduct daily, weekly, periodic cycle counts / stock checks of products and report findings to Inventory Control Supervisor
• Coordinate and follow-up with Retail Operations to resolve inventory issues that require physical checking of stocks
• Assist Inventory Planning Executive in validating count results of cycle counts/Customs stock take (during and after the count)
• Maintain and update records that will be used as references for checking and validation of items
• Assist Inventory Planning Executive in checking SKU’s with source code (EAN/UPC) or price tag issues and report it promptly to Inventory Control superiors
• Liaise with Retail Operations in printing of new price tags for items with incorrect source codes
• Process returns to warehouse in Glob+
• Checks breakages and damaged items at each store and maintain a Liqour Breakage & Damaged Items Monitoring Listing
• Any other duties which may be assigned by immediate superior/Manager from time to time

• NITEC or Higher NITEC or Diploma in logistics / supply chain discipline
• At least 1-2 years relevant experience within retail stores environment would be advantageous
• Highly motivated and organized individual with attention to detail
• Ms Excel competency
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines and reporting timeline
