Job summary

GIC is seeking a Data Scientist/AVP to join the Internal Audit Data Analytics team in Singapore. You will leverage LLM/GenAI to build advanced analytics that support risk and control activities, and develop end-to-end data ingestion pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks.

With 3+ years in data science/engineering, you will collaborate with stakeholders and a team of data scientists to drive data-driven decisions and continuously adopt best practices in analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of data science or data engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Python-based data workflows.
• Skilled in SQL and big data platforms; ETL end-to-end.
• Familiar with AI agents and agentic coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Leverage LLM and GenAI to develop solutions for internal audit activities.
• Analyse heterogeneous data and generate actionable insights for risk and control.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven risk decisions.
• Work with internal data science community to solve problems.
• Keep up with analytics developments and adopt best practices.
