Job summary

GIC Private Limited seeks an Associate/AVP, Data Scientist in the Internal Audit Department to advance data analytics, machine learning, and GenAI-driven solutions for audit coverage.

You will work with a team of 7 data scientists to analyze large datasets, build ingestion pipelines in Snowflake/Databricks, and deliver actionable insights that inform risk decisions across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS or quantitative field.
• At least 3 years in data science or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Python-based data workflows.
• Experience with SQL databases and big data platforms; ETL end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Leverage LLM and GenAI to support internal audit activities.
• Analyze heterogeneous data and generate actionable insights.
• Develop data ingestion pipelines in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze large data sets and trends.
• Work with internal data scientists to solve complex problems.
• Keep up with new data analytics techniques and best practices.
