Allianz Commercial invites students and graduates to join the Singapore HR team as an internship candidate. The role supports recruitment, invoicing, reporting, and HR communications within a flexible, hybrid setup suitable for students balancing studies.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a relevant Bachelor degree, can handle confidential information, and show adaptability, proactivity, and teamwork. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional Asian language skills welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end internship program recruitment processes (job ads, CV screening, interview scheduling, onboarding).
• Assist in processing HR-related invoices accurately and on time.
• Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc HR reports for stakeholders.
• Support HR communications and maintain the intranet page and newsletters.

Job description

Job Purpose / Role:

We have an internship vacancy supporting our Singapore HR team. This position is suitable for current university students or fresh graduates who are interested in embarking on a career in HR. Flexible working arrangements can be arranged for students who are still enrolled in university, to balance work and studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the internship program recruitment process from start to end (job advertisements, screening of CVs, scheduling of interviews, documentation, background checks, new joiner orientation, etc.).
• Assist in the timely and accurate processing all HR-related invoices.
• Assist to prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Support on HR communications (e.g. emails, newsletters, updating of HR intranet page).
• Support the implementation of projects and initiatives in the company as required (e.g. Well-Being, CSR, Diversity, staff cohesion activities).
• Any other tasks, duties and projects, as assigned by the Managers within the HR team.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills:

• Available for minimum 6 Months, 3 Days Per Week. Preferably from 2027 January to June.
• Currently pursuing, or already obtained, a relevant Bachelor Degree (e.g. Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related fields). Work experience can be substituted for those without the required educational qualifications.
• Able to handle sensitive HR matters with full confidentiality and professionalism.
• Demonstrated adaptability, initiative and leadership qualities, e.g. co-curricular activities, previous internships, volunteer work, national service, overseas experiences, etc.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Team player with a strong service quality and customer-focused mind-set.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Prior knowledge and experience of HR and/or the insurance industry advantageous.
• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluency in other Asian languages advantageous.
