Job summary

The Ministry Of Social And Family Development seeks a data-driven professional to support the Psychological Research and Evaluation division with dashboards and analytics.

You will develop dashboards for insights, perform ETL on qualitative and quantitative data, and apply text analytics using Excel, Python or R, to inform policy and programmes in Singapore.

What the role is:

The Psychological Research and Evaluation (PRE) division provides strategic leadership and direction for programmes, interventions, and psychological tools implemented by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and in the social service sector.

What you will be working on:

• Developing dashboards for insights.
• Performing data ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) on qualitative and quantitative data.
• Conducting thematic analysis and text analytics.
• Cleaning and analysing data using Excel, R, or Python.

What we are looking for:

• Background in Data Science/Statistics/Computer Science/Economics/Psychology or related field with relevant coursework in statistics and research methods
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA) and coding languages such as Python or R
• Experience with visualisation platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred
• Strong analytical abilities, resourcefulness and good interpersonal skills
