Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (MSF) seeks a Data Governance professional to shape and implement MSF's data strategy, governance policies, and data quality initiatives within the Transformation Division. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data transformation in social services.

The role focuses on designing data plans, enabling governance, and building capabilities for officers to manage data effectively in their work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance committees and working groups, facilitating discussions on data quality improvements and resolving complex data management challenges.
• Oversee the implementation of the data training roadmap and ensure MSF officers are equipped with the skillsets for managing data in their work.

What the role is:

The Strategy, International & Research (SIR) Directorate oversees and drives MSF’s strategic planning, transformation, international engagement, as well as research and analytics efforts to achieve MSF’s strategic outcomes.As part of the Transformation Division in SIR, you will be involved in a cross-functional team to drive MSF’s data strategy, formulate data governance policies/processes and build data capabilities within MSF.Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director (Data Governance Office) of the Transformation Division within SIR, you will be part of a high-performing team of officers who are committed to drive data transformation within MSF and the social service sector.

What you will be working on:

Join us in shaping MSF's data transformation journey. We are seeking skilled professional to help design and implement MSF's Data Plan, and enhance our data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across divisions to understand business requirements and ensure data quality standards meet operational needs

What we are looking for:

• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field
• 2 years of experience in data management roles
• Strong knowledge of data quality methodologies, tools, and industry best practices
• Experience in leading data quality improvement projects and implementing data governance frameworks
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management systems
