Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors in Singapore offers a 6-month off-cycle internship from January to July 2027. The program focuses on hands-on experience within the team, including market research analysis, CRM reporting, and client event support, with networking opportunities across Asia.

You will gain exposure to asset management and learn how products are distributed to private banks, wealth managers, and institutions.

Qualifications

• University student in Singapore pursuing Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.

• Able to prioritize, manage time efficiently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Analyze third party market research for management reporting and fund launches.
• Use a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce) to build reports supporting the sales process.
• Assist with client events, roadshows and portfolio managers visits.
• Support day-to-day operations of the team.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing and Investments.

Your opportunity

This is a 6-month off cycle internship programme from January to July 2027 focusing on gaining first hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking. Gain exposure to one of the world’s leading global asset managers and learn how investment products are distributed across private banks, wealth managers, institutions and intermediaries across Asia.

• Analyze third party reports (market research) for management reporting purposes to help in fund launches or competitor analysis
• Utilize a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce) to build reports and help manage the sales process with alignment to best practices
• Assist with the preparation of client events, roadshows and portfolio managers visit
• Support the day-to-day operations of the team
• Exposure to senior leaders across Sales, Marketing and Investments functions
• Opportunities to attend client events hosted by Janus Henderson Investors
• Work with colleagues and stakeholders across the globe
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

• University student from a tertiary institution in Singapore, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline
• Possess an interest in mutual funds and a basic understanding of the asset management/private banking industry
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Highly organized and efficient, with strong attention to details
• Act as a self-starter who is driven and passionate, willingly takes initiative, and seeks out opportunities - evidenced by supporting projects, or volunteering activities

Nice to have skills

• Additional language skills in Korean, Thai or Bahasa would be a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to form good working relationships with all clients and internal stakeholders
• Confident and proactive approach
