Janus Henderson Investors is offering a 6-month off-cycle internship in Singapore, January–July 2027, focused on gaining hands-on experience in marketing across Asia ex Japan. You will learn how investment products are distributed to banks, wealth managers, and institutions through induction, on-the-job learning, and networking.

The role involves event support, merchandise sourcing, analytics, and cross-team collaboration with hybrid work arrangements and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• University student enrolled at a Singapore tertiary institution (Business/Finance/Marketing).
• Strong interest in financial services marketing trends and competitive landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across time zones and work independently.
• Proactive self-starter with analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing marketing events, campaigns, and promotions across Asia ex Japan to strengthen client connectivity.
• Provide event support for JHI events, including logistics and on-site setup.
• Source and manage branded merchandise for client gifting in Asia ex Japan.
• Update marketing spreadsheets and inventory records.
• Participate in marketing team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Support budget/expense reporting and compliance approvals.
• Carry out additional duties to support the marketing team.

Your opportunity

This is a 6-month off cycle internship programme from January to July 2027 focusing on gaining first hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking. Gain exposure to one of the world’s leading global asset managers and learn how investment products are distributed across private banks, wealth managers, institutions and intermediaries across Asia.

• Assist in the implementation of marketing events, campaigns, and promotional activities that support sales and marketing efforts in Asia ex Japan, strengthening client connectivity and building brand awareness across institutional and intermediary channels
• Event support for JHI events, third party and distributor events, including logistics planning, packing, pre-event set up, post-event tear down
• Sourcing and implementing creative festive and branded merchandise for client gifting in Asia ex Japan
• Update marketing spreadsheets and merchandise inventories
• Participating in and contributing to marketing team meetings
• Support budget/expense reporting and compliance approvals
• Carry out additional duties as assigned; support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Must have skills

• University student from a tertiary institution in Singapore, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a similar discipline.
• Interest in financial services strategic marketing trends and competitive landscape
• Excellent written and oral English
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• A team player, the ability to collaborate and work with colleagues across different time zones and regions, as well as the ability to work independently
• Proactive, uses initiative and is a self-starter
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, both visual and numerical
• Ability to problem solve and a desire to learn, understand and grow
