Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore offers a Quality Control Intern position to gain hands-on experience in data validation, sensory testing, and quality assurance within the fragrance and flavor space. You will work under the Head of Quality and collaborate across the Singapore team to support lab operations and process improvements.

You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Diploma in Food Science or Chemistry and must be completing the internship as part of your school requirement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science or Chemistry or related field.
• Must be taking internship as part of school curriculum in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data validation and troubleshooting in QC processes.
• Support alignment and rollout of sensory evaluation methods.
• Assist in establishing standard practices for sensory and analytical testing.
• Contribute to improving processes in the Quality Lab.
• Help with Ethanol Quantification method implementation.
• Collect data for ongoing projects.

Quality Control Intern - Your future position?

Reports to: Head of Quality, Singapore

Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Job Responsibilities

• Get involved in analysis and trials as part of data validation / troubleshooting
• Support on alignment of Sensory Evaluation Testing methods
• Support on the rollout of Global Sensory Program
• Support to improve process & establish standard practice for sensory & analytical
• Support layout study, improve process & establish standard practices in Quality Lab
• Support implementation of new Ethanol Quantification method.
• Data collection for ongoing projects

Key Learnings For Intern

• You will have an overview of the steps involved to manufacture flavor, from creation to production.
• You will learn about the sensory and analytical tests used in the flavor industry
• You will learn about the regional/global Quality improvement projects

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a Bachelors/Diploma in Food Science OR Chemistry relevant fields
• You must be taking up this internship opportunity as a school requirement/credit bearing initiative in Singapore
