Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore invites you to join our fragrance operations team as an Operations Intern. This hands-on role offers exposure to a manufacturing environment and real contributions to continuous improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the Production Manager.

As an intern, you will represent the fragrance compounding plant on assigned projects, support SOP enhancements, identify operational gaps, and help collect and analyze data to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Ingeniería background: Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Credit-bearing internship required.
• Open to students currently pursuing related studies.

Responsibilities

• Support projects within the fragrance production area.
• Assist in SOP enhancement and implementation within fragrance production.
• Coordinate to survey and identify gaps in the operational environment.
• Collect, organize, and analyze critical data to support strategic decisions.

Operations Intern - Your future position?

Reporting to: Production Manager

Overall objective

We are looking for an Operations Intern to join our Fragrance Operations department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment, contributing directly to our continuous improvement initiatives. This opportunity will serve as a fantastic foundation to be established and to showcase your talents.

In this internship, you will represent the fragrance compounding plant for assigned projects within the manufacturing area.

Main Responsibilities

• Support projects within the manufacturing area of the fragrance compounding plant
• Support SOP Enhancement - Assist in the follow‑up and implementation of improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the fragrance production process, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Identify Operational Gaps - Act as a coordinator to survey and identify gaps within our operational environment, enabling and supporting various improvement activities
• Data Collection & Analysis - Aid the Production Manager and other management staff in collecting, organizing, and analyzing critical data to support strategic business changes and operational decisions

Main Requirements

• Education background in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Only open for students who are taking up this internship as a credit bearing initiative
