Job summary

Givaudan in Singapore offers an internship in Science & Technology (Chemist) to gain hands-on experience in analytical lab work and fragrance/beauty insights. Location: 1 Pioneer Turn, you will report to the Sensory Research/Technology Scientist, January 2027 to May/June 2027 on a full-time basis.

You will assist sensory tests, olfactive training, data compilation, and laboratory evaluations, contributing to safe, well-documented experiments and collaborative projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any science relevant field.
• Basic lab management/housekeeping practices.
• Commitment to internship Jan 2027–May/June 2027 (full time).
• Internship credit bearing required by school.

Responsibilities

• Assist sensory panel leader to manage and execute sensory tests.
• Assist and coordinate panel Olfactive training.
• Perform technical evaluations of fragrances/fragranced products.
• Compile data and maintain documentation records of all technical tests and trainings.
• Handle assignments independently and maintain accurate records of all evaluation tests.
• Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
• Work with technical specialist on projects and develop protocols for demonstrations.
• Perform stability tests to monitor physical and chemical changes to products.
• Ensure safe and healthy work environment by maintaining good laboratory practice, regular housekeeping.
