Job summary

Galaxy Studio Interior Pte. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join our Woodlands team, managing the financial aspects of interior design and construction projects to ensure on-time delivery within budget and top quality.

You will read drawings, perform take-offs, prepare BOQs, and handle tendering, procurement, contracts, and claims while maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or closely related field.
Minimum 3 years of proven QS experience within construction/interior/term contract sectors.
Local experience in Singapore is strictly required.
Strong ability to read drawings and perform take-offs.
Proficiency in standard quantity surveying software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Read, study, and interpret architectural and construction drawings to perform quantity take-offs and prepare BOQ.
Prepare and assemble tender documents; produce detailed cost estimates and budgets.
Analyze tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Manage sub-contractor contracts and evaluate/ process their claims; follow up on progress claims and final accounts.
Maintain accurate records and project summaries; track status of claims.
Monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings.
Prepare progress reports and financial statements in compliance with regulations.
