Job summary

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is seeking an Interface Manager to oversee technical, logistical, and operational interfaces across CARP and CAPEX projects at the Singapore site. You will align new system installations and brownfield refurbishments with civil works and operational environments without disruption.

You will act as on-site conduit between MHI Japan and local stakeholders, coordinate with CAG and consultants, chair Interface Coordination Meetings, and ensure interface registers and RFIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or related discipline) or diploma with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in installation projects for AGT, LRT, APM or MRT systems.
• Native level of Japanese writing and speaking (JLPT N1) required.
• Proven track record in a similar interface management role within last 5 years in Singapore.
• Experience installing MHI Crystal Mover APM or similar systems is advantageous.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage interfaces, coordinate across vendors, and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site conduit between MHI Japan and local stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Civil and Architectural consultants to ensure modifications fit site and operations.
• Coordinate interface management across all subsystems including PSD, PDS, Signalling, and guideway.
• Organise and chair regular on-site Interface Coordination Meetings and update the Interface Register.
• Review RFIs, manage changes, and escalate bottlenecks to the Site Project Manager.
