China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking an Interface Manager to oversee cross-package interface coordination with clients, subcontractors and design teams.

You will expedite engineering deliverables and resolve interfacing issues across the project, with responsibility to maintain traceable documentation and drive timely resolutions. Responsibilities include leading the project-wide interface management process, organizing monthly coordination meetings, and reporting

Formación

• Degree in construction, civil, project management or similar function.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Trackwork/Construction Industry and LTA Projects.
• Basic understanding on the cyber security requirement.
• Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, contract administration.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc)
• Strong interpersonal with good communication skill in both verbal and written
• Have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, accustomed to being in positions of responsibility and accountability with good planning and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate & expediting technical requirement & solution between internal and external parties of the Project Design Team and Construction Team.
• Review, critique and advise on the interface management documentation to ensure outputs satisfy requirements and obligations.
• Lead and manage the project-wide interface management process per Interface Management Plan.
• Administer cross-package inputs to the interface management database with traceable documentation.
• Organise and chair Monthly Interface Coordination Meetings with Client/Stakeholders and Sub-Contractors.
• Report to Employer/Client/Stakeholders/PMC on interface issues, ad-hoc and weekly.
• Monitor status of interface agreements and provide updates to Project Managers.

Job Description

As a InterfaceManager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limit to:-

In-charge of system Interface coordination with various parties such as Clients, System Wide Contractors, Design/Installation Sub-Contractor, Hook-up & Commissioning Agencies, Construction Coordination, expediting engineering deliverables as well as resolving interfacing issues.

Coordinating & expediting technical requirement & solution between internal and external parties of the Project Design Team and Construction Team.

Review, critique and advice on the interface management documentation from each of the package Contractor's to ensure that the outputs satisfy the Engineer's procedural requirements and the Contractor's obligations to the Employer.

Lead and manage the project-wide interface management process, and thereby fulfil the Engineer's obligations as defined in the approved "Interface Management Plan" / "Procedure for Interface Management".

Administer the cross-package inputs to the interface management database and ensure that each contractor initiates, manages and closes out all interface issues in a timely manner with traceable documentation.

Organise, chair, control and minute regular Monthly Interface Coordination Meetings with the Client/Stakeholders and all Sub-Contractors to promote cross-package interaction and close cooperation between all parties on the project.

Report to the Employer, Client, Stakeholders, PMC or the Engineer's Senior Management on specific and generic interface management issues project-wide, both on an ad-hoc and weekly basis.

Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Managers where appropriate.

Collaborating with Project Managers, Team Leaders, Superintendents, and Engineering Professionals working on the project.

Develop or update operating policies for team communication and safety and risk mitigation.

Status of interface activities between the different parties to ensure all interface related requirements are met during detailed engineering and according to the project milestone schedule and completion priorities.

Responsible to identify the interface detail plan/design, ensure the boundary is clearly identified in the design document, ensure the interface handover are clearly identified in the schedule, develop the interface management protocols for the Sub-Contractors.

Develop the understanding of the interface risks and mitigation measure.

Requirements

Possess Degree in construction, civil, project management or similar function.
