Job summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned Interface Manager to coordinate all interfaces across FEED, detail engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of major projects in Singapore. The role focuses on documenting interfaces, managing schedules and ensuring technical integrity and HSE compliance.

You will work with clients, contractors and vendors, requiring a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5 years' experience. Strong English communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering recognized by Singapore's Professional Engineers Board.
• 5 years' experience in front-end engineering, engineering design, procurement, construction, hook-up and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of technical integrity management, project management and QA systems.
• Willing to work with multiple disciplines and nationalities on greenfield projects.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to coordinate with clients, contractors and vendors.
• Strong English verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document and manage interfaces between project packages through all lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate and oversee interfaces at scopes, schematics, tie-ins, schedules and permits.
• Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan and Register for projects.
• Support Project Manager in resolving interface issues among contractors and clients.
• Ensure technical integrity and HSE compliance across interface activities.
• Monitor interface progress to meet project milestones and construction plans.
• Create interface documents, systems and matrices to coordinate deliverables.

Job Description

• Ensure that all interfaces between project and other package contractors are identified, documented and managed during all stages and phases of the project, FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning, start-up, etc.
• Provide relevant expertise of plant construction in the area of management and coordination.
• Represent the Project where appropriate to client, consulting companies and other contractors or service providers as appropriate to the needs of the work. It is necessary to proactively manage the information and responses relevant to all internal and external interfaces.
• Oversee general Interfaces associated with contract package delivery at point of interfaces, Interface schematics, Tie-ins, Project schedule impact/construction plan for interface scope, Contracting issues for interface elements, structure clashes, permits, and HSE of interfaces
• Ensure development and maintenance of an overall Interface Management Plan and Register for projects/packages covering all identified and potential interfaces, along with the relationship/references relative to the activities as per the contract.
• Support Project Manager in resolving all interfaces between Contractors, sub-contractors and clients.
• Ensures from a point of interface perspective that technical integrity and HSE requirements are met cost effectively throughout the project construction.
• Monitor status of interface activities between the different project packages to ensure that all interface related requirements are met during detailed engineering and according to the Project milestone schedule and completion priorities.
• Develop Interface documents, systems, diagrams, matrices etc. to coordinate completion of agreed deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).
• 5 years' experience of Front-end engineering, engineering design, procurement, construction, hook-up, and commissioning with a good understanding of technical integrity management systems, project management, quality and assurance systems.
• Green field project and a willingness and ability to work with all disciplines and nationalities.
• Teamwork skills being able to work with the various parties such as client, other contractors, sub-contractors, vendors to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of delivering the implementation plan.
• Solid experience in project engineering and project management.
• High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, tie-in, pre-commissioning, installation, hook-up and commissioning of environmental project.
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills - verbal and written.
• Fully conversant in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point, Project, etc.).
