Job summary

Equinix Asia Pacific is seeking an Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICS) to grow interconnection revenue across Equinix’s full portfolio, physical and virtual, in Financial Services accounts. You design how networks, clouds, partners and AI workloads connect, landing the design on Platform Equinix as a repeatable blueprint.

You’ll partner with Account Executives, Solution Architects, Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers to create pull-through for the team, not credit competition, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling interconnection/network/AI infra to enterprise and financial services
• Architecture depth in WAN, peering, cloud connectivity and network virtualization
• Ability to design solutions with customer architects and produce blueprints
• Executive presence with technical buyers and business decision makers
• Experience working with account teams and partners to hit sales targets
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, CS or related field
• Experience with financial institutions, capital markets or regulated enterprises

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture-led selling and design wins with customers’ network, cloud and infra teams
• Map customer needs to proven interconnection architectures and create repeatable patterns
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on presales feasibility and blueprint production
• Register architecture scope early and drive to first production circuit
• Develop value cases and metrics showing business impact of the architecture
• Engage with CIOs/CTOs and enterprise architects across FS sectors
• Manage pipeline and forecast through monthly/quarterly/annual cycles
• Assist AE on quoting, pricing, negotiations and deal closing
