EY Singapore is seeking an experienced General Insurance (Non-Life/Property & Casualty) professional to join as Manager/Senior Manager. You will lead insurance-focused consulting engagements, shaping client strategies and operating models across Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities include delivering transformation programmes, coaching teams, and supporting business development, with a focus on underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant insurance industry experience for Manager level.
• Typically 10+ years for Senior Manager/Director.
• Experience in General Insurance disciplines: underwriting, claims, reinsurance, distribution, operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of insurance-focused consulting engagements.
• Advise clients on strategy, operating models and performance improvements.
• Support underwriting, claims, reinsurance, distribution and ops enhancements.
• Drive transformation programmes including process optimisation and target operating models.
• Conduct workshops and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Coach and develop junior team members; oversee project teams.
• Assist with proposals and client pursuits; manage relationships.
• Contribute to thought leadership in the insurance sector.
