Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an Assistant Pricing Manager in Singapore to drive end-to-end pricing for insurance products, align with market strategy, and oversee VNB reporting. You will develop advanced pricing models and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable launches.

The role emphasizes balancing innovation with risk management, regulatory compliance, and leadership engagement. A strong actuarial background and mentoring skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field; ASA/FCAS or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ Life Insurance actuarial pricing experience with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (R, Python, Excel); knowledge of IFRS17 and RBC2.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing and actuarial analysis for new HNW product initiatives.
• Develop deterministic and stochastic pricing models; monitor profitability.
• Oversee VNB reporting and explain drivers of profitability to leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Implementation and Governance teams.
• Mentor junior pricing analysts and promote best practices.
