Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau in Singapore is seeking an actuary focused on pricing for participating products. You will develop assumptions, pricing models, and advise on product design while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong actuarial modelling skills, hands-on product pricing exposure, and the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders. A track record in life insurance pricing and ongoing actuarial qualification progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent quantitative discipline.
• At least 3 years of actuarial experience in life insurance with pricing/product development exposure.
• Progress toward a recognised actuarial qualification.
• Strong modelling, analytical and documentation discipline.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial pricing of new and existing participating products, including reports and presentations for senior management.
• Assess and evaluate key financial metrics, and propose ways to improve them while balancing competitiveness.
• Engage internal stakeholders on pricing and implementation matters.
• Review product-related documents and provide policy servicing support.
• Provide technical and implementation support for system development, including UAT, Day 1 and post-launch enhancements.
