Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Officer (Insurance) to bridge insurers’ business and technology teams, bringing deep domain expertise and hands-on data and delivery background. You will translate underwriting, claims, distribution and policy servicing needs into AI-enabled solutions and work with MAS guidelines to govern risk.

You will lead AI engagements, shape use cases, build business cases and collaborate with Sciente’s delivery and data teams to drive measurable value across

Qualifications

• 15+ years in insurance, technology, delivery or demand roles.
• Knowledge of core insurance processes: underwriting, policy administration, servicing and distribution.
• Track record delivering insurance platforms and multi-market experience in Asia.
• Experience with insurer-facing solutions and business-IT collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior insurance voice with client business heads in underwriting, claims, distribution, policy servicing, group and health.
• Identify and shape AI and data use cases with measurable value (claims triage, fraud detection, underwriting support).
• Build business cases covering value, cost, risk and delivery effort.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and solution outlines for client IT and Sciente teams.
• Co-design solutions with Dataiku, Denodo and Neo4j alongside delivery teams.
• Oversee AI engagements through production and govern according to MAS and risk frameworks.
• Track outcomes and report value to client sponsors.
