Halcyon Technology Singapore is seeking an experienced Installation & Service Technician to join our team in the Kallang Central Region. This full-time role focuses on installing, maintaining and servicing CNC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high client satisfaction.

You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance, communicating clearly with clients and coordinating with teams while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Installation & Service Technician or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair procedures for CNC turning and milling machines.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations in technical installation work.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Installation & Service Technician to join the team at Halcyon Technology Singapore. This is a full-time position based in the Kallang Central Region. As an Installation & Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support and installation services to our valued clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is installed correctly, maintained to the highest standards, and serviced promptly to minimise downtime. This position is essential to our commitment to providing reliable, high-quality technical solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

• Install, configure and set up technology equipment and systems at client locations in accordance with specifications and industry standards

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults and issues, implementing effective solutions promptly

• Respond to service calls and emergency requests in a timely manner, providing professional on-site support

• Conduct thorough testing of equipment following installation to verify functionality and compliance with requirements

• Maintain detailed records of all installation, maintenance and service activities, including documentation of work completed

• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining technical concepts in an accessible manner and providing guidance on equipment use

• Liaise with other team members and departments to coordinate installations and service schedules

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies whilst performing technical work

• Keep up to date with product knowledge and technical developments relevant to the role

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as an Installation & Service Technician or similar technical role in a related industry

• Strong technical knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair procedures in CNC turning and milling machines

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment relevant to the sector

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting

• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in technical installation work

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting service standards

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

• Physical capability to carry out manual work and operate at various heights where necessary

• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in your field of expertise

• Driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites within the service area
