The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education or higher and have experience in IB/IGCSE/A Level environments, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching Chemistry, Physics or Coordinated Science.
• Experience with IB Programme, Cambridge IGCSE and A Level desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable, culturally sensitive and able to engage diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the curriculum for Cambridge international exams.
• Help students develop critical and creative thinking via inquiry and experiments.
• Prepare reports for each student and conduct parent conferences with progress notes.
• Maintain records of each student’s learning and progress.
• Conduct detailed assessments during parent conferences and provide examples.
• Collaborate with co-teachers on planning, pastoral care and school life.
• Interact with students professionally and uphold school codes of conduct.
• Ensure student safety on site and during off-site activities.
• Encourage parental involvement in classroom experiences.
• Attend staff and meetings, and contribute to school improvement.
