Job summary

Woodlands Hospital seeks an experienced Inpatient Operations Lead to ensure ward operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently across inpatient towers. You will partner with clinicians, nursing and support services to drive service excellence, readiness, and patient experience initiatives.

You will oversee ward workflows, participate in transformation projects, monitor KPIs, and coordinate facilities, equipment and system readiness for inpatient services, enabling high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Operations Management or related discipline.
Strong operational, process-improvement mindset and experience in healthcare operations.
Experience with project management, stakeholder coordination and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day inpatient ward operations and support PSA teams.
Ensure wards are operationally ready; manage facilities, equipment and systems.
Lead process redesign and transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Monitor inpatient KPIs (BOR, LOS, discharge referrals) and suggest improvements.
Lead ward opening, setup and commissioning; coordinate procurement and licensing.
Act as secretariat for inpatient operations initiatives and coordinate stakeholder engagements.
