Job summary

Woodlands Hospital in Singapore seeks an experienced Inpatient Operations lead to drive ward excellence, patient experience and service standards. You will oversee day-to-day inpatient ward operations, support ward PSA teams, monitor workflows and coordinate with clinicians, nursing and support services to ensure safe, efficient care.

You will lead process improvements, manage projects, dashboards and KPIs such as BOR and LOS, and act as secretariat for inpatient operations initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in healthcare operations, ward operations, inpatient administration or hospital service management.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, service improvement and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with hospital operational workflows and healthcare service delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of inpatient wards and provide operational support across ward services.
• Support and manage Inpatient PSA teams across inpatient towers.
• Monitor and improve ward operational workflows, patient experience and service standards.
• Investigate operational issues, patient feedback and service gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with clinicians, nursing and support departments to ensure smooth ward operations.
• Lead ward opening, setup and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate procurement, facilities readiness, staff readiness and licensing requirements.
