Qualifications

• Synthesize and characterize composite cathodes for Li-ion batteries.
• Experience in synthesis of nanomaterials and nanocomposites for Li batteries.
• Knowledge of electrochemical techniques (CV, LSV, EIS) and polymer electrolytes.
• Experience with Li-based battery fabrication at coin cell and pouch cell level.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments (SEM, XRD, TGA, Raman, IR, Viscometer).

Responsibilities

• Synthesize 3D nanofiber networks using electrospinning.
• Fabricate ultrathin ceramic‑in‑polymer membranes for solid-state batteries.
• Synthesize and characterize composite cathodes for Li-ion batteries.
• Characterize and optimize freestanding membrane electrolytes for Li-ion applications.
• Fabricate coin cells and pouch cells for Li-ion batteries.
• Assemble and electrochemically characterize pouch cell prototypes.
• Analyze failure mechanisms and develop mitigation plans for long-term stability.
