Job summary

NTU's EI2 Lab in Singapore seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral or Research Fellow to advance electrolyte and materials interfaces for next-generation batteries. You will lead independent research on solid-state batteries, interfacial chemistry, and chemo-mechanics, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and collaborate with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong track record of publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Experience with solid‑state battery research and interfacial chemistries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research on electrolyte and materials interfaces for batteries.
• Develop and synthesize materials for solid‑state energy storage.
• Perform electrochemical testing and advanced material characterizations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on joint projects.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.
