Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage cloud-based Windows and Linux infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security alignment with policy.

You will handle incident management, capacity planning, system upgrades, and disaster recovery planning, while supporting infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6 years of IT infrastructure support and maintenance experience.
• 3 years managing Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat Linux servers in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of server, database, network, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience in incident management, service recovery, and escalation handling.
• Experience in capacity planning, system upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with security reviews, audits, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to support infrastructure projects, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud-based Windows/Linux infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Oversee IT operations, service management processes, incident resolution, and vendor/service provider governance.
• Conduct security reviews, audits, capacity planning, system upgrades, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support infrastructure projects, technology improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Strong background in system maintenance, capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring high availability of business-critical systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and maintenance;
• Must have 3 years of experience managing Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat Linux servers in a cloud environment;

• Experience in incident management, service recovery, and escalation handling;
