Job summary

MCI Career Services is seeking an IT Administrator to join our team in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining the Dormitory Management System server, Active Directory, file/FTP/backup servers, wireless devices, and core network services.

Work is based at Pandan Crescent with standard Monday–Friday hours and company transport support. The candidate should have a Diploma in IT with at least 3 years’ experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology.
• Minimum 3 years working experience.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking.
• Good knowledge in Windows.
• Well-versed with the operation of firewall/VPN, Anti-virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Detection.
• Ability in administering, maintaining, optimizing windows active directory system security.
• Ability to configure and set-up new server.
• Strong trouble shooting and analytical skill.
• Self-motivated, self-disciplined, willing to learn and able to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Service focused, positive, and patient attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handling second level of issues escalation from IT Support Officer.
• Maintain server for Dormitory Management System
• Maintain Active Directory, file server, FTP, backup server.
• Setup and maintain wireless devices.
• Monitoring and maintain DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Proxy Server.
• Monitoring and maintaining spam
• Monitoring and maintain print server, fax server
• Monitoring and managing switches and network appliances
• Ad-hoc job or project.
