Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable industrial equipment and process solutions. You will prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations while collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions that meet customer needs.

Requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Chemical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Entry level with relevant qualifications welcome to apply.
• Experience in engineering sales or powder processing systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings or project discussions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable equipment and process solutions.
• Review technical enquiries and interpret customer specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and costing based on customer requirements.
• Conduct technical presentations and participate in technical clarification meetings with customers.
• Provide process design and application support, including process flow diagrams and process layouts.
• Liaise with factories and overseas counterparts for technical information and quotations.
• Work closely with the drafting and engineering teams to develop customised solutions.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
