Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering within electronics, semiconductor, or optoelectronics manufacturing.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environments is preferred.

About the role


The Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing efficiency in optical transceiver production. This role focuses on production capacity planning, line balancing, cost optimization, and continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and Lean methodologies. The Industrial Engineer ensures optimal resource utilization and supports manufacturing excellence in high-volume production environments.


Key responsibilities



  • Analyze and optimize production line efficiency, including line balancing, cycle time reduction, and bottleneck elimination

  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis

  • Develop and maintain standard labor models, production capacity plans, and resource allocation strategies

  • Drive improvement initiatives to enhance productivity (UPH), equipment utilization (OEE), and manufacturing cost efficiency
