The Industrial Engineer is responsible for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing productivity. This role uses data analysis and teamwork with different departments to identify improvement opportunities, enhance supply chain performance, and maintain high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and able to deliver measurable results.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operations.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, quality, and safety.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyze production costs, material usage, and waste.
Implement cost-saving initiatives such as process improvements, material optimization, or waste reduction.
Monitor and evaluate the results of cost-reduction projects.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve material flow, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Implement solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Assess work processes to identify potential safety and ergonomic risks.
Implement solutions to improve employee safety and comfort.
Provide guidance on proper lifting techniques and workstation setup.
Lead or support projects involving new processes, technologies, or equipment.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure successful execution.
Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
Identify safety risks and implement preventive measures.
Develop and enforce workplace safety procedures.
Ensure procurement processes comply with RBA and ISO 9001 standards.
Understand QMS requirements, including documentation and process interactions.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
Knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI.
Understanding of cost analysis, material flow, and inventory management.
Familiar with health, safety, ergonomics, and ISO 9001 standards.
Experience in managing or supporting projects related to process or system improvements.
Good communication and presentation skills.
