Job summary

Weidmuller Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic sales professional to grow our business in Factory Automation, Energy (Switchgears/Substations), and Building Management System sectors in Singapore. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and promote advanced industrial solutions.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or related field and 3+ years in industrial automation sales, with a proven network in panel builders or system integrators.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial automation, panel building or related industries.
• Understanding of industrial control systems and panel assembly practices.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Established network within panel builders or system integrator community.
• Own vehicle to visit customers and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Factory Automation, Energy, and BMS sectors to expand market presence.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Build and sustain relationships with panel builders, system integrators, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations to communicate Weidmuller solutions and value propositions.
• Provide pre-sales and application support with technical teams to address customer requirements.
• Develop and implement account development plans aligned with regional growth targets.
• Collaborate with distributors and partners to drive indirect sales and expand market reach.
• Monitor sales pipeline activities and report progress against targets.
• Promote Weidmuller portfolio including terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, Industrial Ethernet, signal conditioners, and cabinet solutions.
• Coordinate with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to align strategies.
