Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites a Business Development Engineer to grow our industrial automation portfolio from Macpherson.

You will generate opportunities with direct customers, distributors and partners, promoting motors and motion control solutions. You hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or Automation, with relevant industry experience and a Class 3 driving licence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related discipline.
• Preference for experience in industrial automation, motor or motion control.
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence and own vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with direct customers, distributors and business partners
• Promote industrial automation, motor and motion control products to new and existing customers
• Understand customers' technical and application requirements and recommend suitable product solutions
• Prepare product introductions, technical proposals and solution recommendations based on customer needs
• Provide technical support to customers and assist in resolving product application issues
• Follow up closely on customer projects from initial enquiry through technical discussion, quotation and project progress
• Conduct product and technical training for distributors, business partners and customers when required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow account sales
• Gather market and customer feedback and provide input on product requirements and new market opportunities
• Work closely with internal technical, product and marketing teams to support customer requirements
• Conduct regular customer visits and outdoor sales activities
