PENTAX Medical seeks a strategic Indirect Procurement Specialist to lead global sourcing and procurement across regions. You will drive category strategies, optimize total cost of ownership, standardize processes, and manage an international supplier base aligned with corporate objectives.

You will collaborate with APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, engaging Finance, IT, HR, Operations/Commercial, Marketing and Legal to ensure KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

We are seeking a strategic and globally minded Indirect Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and procurement activities across multiple regions. This role will drive global category strategies, optimize total cost of ownership, standardize procurement processes, and manage a diverse international supplier base. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement across regions and alignment with global business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Category Strategy

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for indirect spending categories (e.g., IT, logistics services, facilities, HR, marketing, professional services).
• Leverage global scale to drive cost efficiencies, supplier consolidation, and value creation.
• Establish category roadmaps aligned with corporate and regional objectives.

Regional & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with regional procurement teams (APAC, EMEA, Americas) to ensure strategy alignment and local execution.
• Engage global stakeholders across functions (Finance, IT, HR, Operations/Commercial, Marketing, Legal).
• Balance global standardization with local market requirements and regulations.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Lead global RFP/RFQ processes and contract negotiations with multinational suppliers.
• Develop and manage a preferred global supplier network.
• Implement supplier performance management frameworks (KPIs, SLAs, scorecards).
• Drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract & Commercial Governance

• Own global contract frameworks and ensure consistency across regions.
• Collaborate closely with legal teams to manage complex international contracts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Spend Management & Reporting

• Analyze global spending data to identify savings opportunities and demand optimization.
• Track cost savings, cost avoidance, and budget adherence across regions.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and geopolitical risks within global supply chains.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with international trade laws, ESG requirements, and company policies.
• Develop business continuity plans for critical services and suppliers.

Digital Procurement & Process Excellence

• Drive adoption of global procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
• Standardize procurement processes and promote best practices across regions.
• Support procurement transformation and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience in indirect procurement, with global exposure.
• Proven experience managing global categories and cross-regional teams.
• Strong understanding of international sourcing, contracts, and supplier markets.
