Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement professional in Singapore to lead strategic sourcing for Corporate Services and IT categories. You will work with senior leaders to shape demand, develop category strategies and deliver cost-effective sourcing outcomes.

The role requires strong category expertise in Corporate Services and/or Technology, including software and cloud services, with a track record in negotiations, contract structuring and supplier governance.

Qualifications

As part of its continued focus on procurement excellence and transformation, there is now an opportunity for a commercially astute Indirect Procurement professional to join their procurement team, with responsibility for a portfolio of strategic indirect spend categories.

You will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across key indirect procurement categories. The role is open to procurement professionals with strong category expertise in Corporate Services and/or Technology, including software/SaaS, cloud services, IT services and other technology-related spend. Working closely with senior functional and business stakeholders, you will shape demand, develop category strategies and deliver commercially effective sourcing outcomes while balancing service quality, governance, risk and compliance. You will manage the end-to-end sourcing agenda, encompassing market analysis, sourcing strategy, negotiations, contracting and supplier performance management. You will establish and optimise supplier arrangements and commercial frameworks while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, demand management, supplier consolidation and improved buying channels. You can also expect to support the broader procurement transformation agenda, including process improvements, digitalisation, stronger supplier governance and data-led decision-making.

Requirements

Ideally, you are an experienced indirect procurement professional with strong category expertise in Corporate Services and/or Technology procurement. You have a proven track record in category strategy, strategic sourcing, complex commercial negotiations, contract structuring, cost optimisation and supplier management, preferably gained within a global and/or matrix organisation. You are commercially astute and analytical, with the ability to use spend analysis, benchmarking and market insights to influence sourcing decisions and deliver sustainable value. You are confident with senior stakeholder management, and operate effectively with competing priorities.
