Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a junior coal trader/sales manager to drive physical trading in the Indian market.

This role requires building client and supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and coordinating end-to-end trades from Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in physical commodities trading with coal/iron ore exposure, strong English and Russian communication, and familiarity with CTRMs and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in business, international trade, or supply chain.
5–10 years trader experience in physical commodities incl. coal and related materials.
2–5 years Indian market experience and knowledge.
Proficient in English and Russian for liaising with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand physical commodity trading activities in the Indian market, focusing on coal and related raw materials.
Identify and develop new business opportunities with buyers, suppliers, industrial customers and trading counterparties.
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing and prospective customers and suppliers.
Manage commercial negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, contracts and other transaction conditions.
Monitor commodity prices, market developments, supply and demand dynamics, and competitor activities to identify trading opportunities.
Coordinate the execution of physical trades, including contract management, shipment scheduling, logistics and documentation, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Assess commercial risks including counterparty creditworthiness, payment terms and market price movements.
Work with operations, finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth transaction execution and timely delivery.
Monitor trading performance and support business growth, profitability and customer retention.
