Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Trading Operations Executive to support the execution and delivery of physical coal transactions.

The role focuses on coordinating shipments, managing trade documentation, and working closely with traders, suppliers, customers and logistics providers. The candidate will oversee operational execution from contract confirmation through settlement, manage multiple shipments, and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, International Trade, or similar.
• 4-5 years of experience in commodity trading operations, focusing on physical coal or related bulk cargos.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, Incoterms and international trade procedures.
• Understanding of letters of credit (L/C) and trade finance documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and coordinate with international counterparties.
• Knowledge of the CTRM system is required.
• Experience with CTRM Fusion is advantageous.
• Experience handling India, Malaysia, Indonesia, or the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational execution of physical coal trades from contract confirmation to final settlement via emails and CTRM.
• Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, shipping agents, freight forwarders and inspectors.
• Prepare and review shipping and trade documentation (bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin).
• Monitor vessel schedules, loading, discharge, and cargo movements.
• Liaise with traders on contract terms, shipment requirements and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with treasury, finance and accounting on letters of credit, payments, and invoicing.
• Resolve operational issues and maintain records of transactions and costs.
