Job summary

Capella is seeking an In-Room Dining Coordinator to manage in-room dining orders, coordinate timely delivery of amenities, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will liaise with kitchen, service, and housekeeping to maintain smooth daily operations and VIP arrangements.

Responsibilities include processing orders, noting dietary requirements, and using POS with confirmations. You’ll monitor preparation times, follow up with guests, and conduct post-service quality checks to uphold Forbes standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in service industry, administrative and secretarial duties.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process in-room dining orders.
• Record guest requests, dietary requirements, and special instructions.
• Communicate orders to kitchen and service teams via POS with confirmation.
• Monitor order preparation and delivery times to meet service standards.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction after service.
• Coordinate amenity requests with Front Office, Housekeeping, and G&B.
• Verify accurate delivery of amenities using trace reports and Knowcross.
• Close job requests in Knowcross once completed by the team.
