Job summary

Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is a non-profit organisation serving diverse communities in Singapore. We are seeking a Procurement professional to manage logistics, vendor coordination, and the issuance of Purchase Orders while upholding our procurement policy in a fast-paced, paperless environment.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics/Business Admin, at least 2 years in procurement, and strong MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics Management / Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Procurement-related role, preferably in a large-sized organization.
• Strong understanding of Procurement processes.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel; hands-on experience in Tender board system or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Arrangements: Coordinates with vendors on site visits, tender interviews, and submission of tenders; Update attendance lists and records; Screen vendor eligibility; Schedule meetings and tender interviews.
• Issuance of Purchase Order: Coordinates with internal stakeholders on requirements; Manage Direct Purchases and issue Purchase Orders; Ensure document completeness and correctness.
• Administrative Duties: Send forms to stakeholders and keep signed copies; Tabulate offers and clarify discrepancies; Coordinate signing of Extension/Award letters; Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, including specs and budgets; Ensure compliance to Procurement Policy and approvals at each stage; Monitor procurement timelines.

Education

Diploma in Logistics Management / Business Administration, or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of procurement experience

Strong understanding of Procurement processes
