Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore for a 12-month contract.

You will manage servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments, ensure security and compliance, and support DR/BC plans. The role requires hands-on administration of Windows and Linux servers, plus collaboration with vendors. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in IT/CS and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or network management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking technologies and virtualisation platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint security solutions and infrastructure security practices.
• Understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery procedures and IT service management.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects and coordinating with external vendors would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, virtualisation platforms and cloud environments.
• Administer network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPN connections and firewalls.
• Support Microsoft 365, AWS and hybrid cloud environments to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Manage endpoint devices, security configurations, software updates and system maintenance.
• Implement infrastructure security controls and ensure compliance with established IT policies and standards.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot technical issues and recommend system improvements.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers on maintenance, upgrades and technical support.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations and network improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations and operational procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support and assist with escalated infrastructure-related issues.
• Undertake other IT-related duties as assigned.
