Job summary

Ambition Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an ICT Engineer to support, maintain, and improve the organisation's IT infrastructure, network services, systems, and end-user computing environment.

This role works closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient ICT operations that support business and academic activities. The ICT Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, project involvement, and maintaining documentation and security controls.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with enterprise networks, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management.
• Support server infrastructure, virtualization, backups, patch management, and endpoint security.
• Provide technical support for users, classrooms, and campus operations.
• Escalate complex incidents and service requests as needed.
• Maintain ICT documentation, standards, and records.
• Support ICT security controls, vulnerability remediation, and audits.
• Coordinate with vendors to deliver ICT services.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and projects.

Job description

The ICT Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, network services, systems, and end-user computing environment. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient ICT operations that support business and academic activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Monitor system and network performance, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, endpoint management, and user access management.
• Support server infrastructure, virtualisation platforms, backup systems, patch management, and endpoint security solutions.
• Provide technical support for users, classrooms, computer laboratories, examinations, and campus operations.
• Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and service requests.
• Maintain ICT documentation, standards, procedures, and operational records.
• Support ICT security controls, vulnerability remediation, compliance requirements, and audit activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery and support of ICT services.
• Participate in infrastructure enhancement projects, system upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in ICT infrastructure, network administration, systems support, or IT operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management, and service desk operations.
• Knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless networks, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with information security practices, IT service management, and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft, Azure, ITIL, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications will be an advantage.
