Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an ICT/AV support staff to manage school ICT inventory, assist in AV setup for events, and support 3D printing and ALP activities.

You will help maintain the Makerspace, assist teachers with ICT issues in classrooms, and support school events with photography, videography, and digital media tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist to update ICT inventory and AV stock books to meet MOE ITD and School Fixed assets requirements.
• Conduct stock-checks at least twice a year for ICT inventory and AV inventory according to school Fixed Assets list.
• Assist in condemnation & replacement for obsolete/out of warranty ICT inventory and AV equipment.
• Track loans of ICT inventory and AV equipment (e.g., cameras, tablets, visualisers).
• Maintain ICT systems and coordinate with vendors for fixes/upgrades to deliver optimal performance.
• Document newly acquired ICT & AV resources in an organized manner.
• Organize and maintain ICT inventory and AV resources in various rooms.

Job description

A. ASSETS MANAGEMENT

• Assist to update all ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV stock books to meet both MOE ITD and School Fixed assets requirements.
• Assist to conduct stock-checks at least twice a year for all ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV inventory according to school Fixed Assets list.
• Assist in condemnation & replacement for obsolete / out of warranty / faulty ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV equipment.
• Assist in tracking of loans of ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV equipments, e.g. digital cameras, tablets, visualisers, CD players etc.
• Assist in the maintenance of ICT systems and work closely with vendors for fixes and upgrade to deliver optimal system performance.
• Document newly acquired ICT & AV resources in a systematic and organised manner.
• Organise and maintain ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV resources in a systematic and neat manner in various allocated rooms.

B. ICT & AV SUPPORT

• Ensure service requests for ICT and AV support are attended to promptly.
• Set up ICT gadgets/ tools such as Swivl robots and interactive TVs to support school activities and events.
• Provide additional ICT support in areas covered by ICT Manager/ Associate and Desktop Engineers, if necessary, such as assist teachers in ICT technical issues during classroom lessons and resolving projectors/ visualisers issues.
• Administer online surveys and compile reports.
• Create Holographic videos for school's holographic projection.
• Create media (e.g. videos) using AI softwares.
• Support the operating of the interactive/ Smart TVs or Whiteboards

C. 3D-PRINTING

• Assist to set-up and maintain 3D-printer(s).
• Train students and teachers on how to operate and use 3D-printer and flashprint software for 3D-printing.

D. APPLIED LEARNING PROGRAMME (ALP)

• Assist with inventory upkeeping and stock-take for ALP.
• Maintenance of Makerspace at the library.
• Assist students with troubleshooting and using of maker equipment at the Makerspace.

E. PLD-related Administration

• Wiping data from student Personal Learning Devices (PLD)
• Basic troubleshooting for PLD
• Handling basic functions on Apple School Manager (ASM)

F. CO-FACILITATION (CCA, Staff & Students area)

• Assisting teachers and/or vendor in Info-Comm Club training by acting as a co-facilitator for photography and videography courses.
• Guide and mentor students in areas of photography and videography.
• Provide technical assistance to teachers' professional development such as assisting in videoing teachers' lessons.
• Conduct ICT training for staff (including basic computing skill for non-teaching staff).

G. OTHERS (School-related)

• Provide ICT support for school official events / functions e.g. photography, live feed videography, video production, setting up of equipment for projection, production of Multi-media presentations for school events including Graduation Ceremonies and School Awards Day etc.
• Maintain digital photo and video albums for the school.
• Design, update and maintain school website.
• Assist teachers to prepare school publications including videos, posters, banners etc.
• Assist the school in any other areas related to ICT & AV as assigned by HOD/SH ICT or P/VPs (including design and printing of certificates).
