Job summary

Stamford American International School in Singapore is seeking a Grades 9-10 and MYP Coordinator to lead the quality of teaching and learning in the IB MYP framework for Grades 9–10 within the High School team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with teaching certification, 5+ years secondary teaching experience, and 3+ years in academic operations management. Strong coaching, assessment, and safeguarding adherence are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with a teaching license or certification.
Minimum 5 years teaching in a secondary school setting.
Minimum 3 years of academic operations management in a secondary school.

Responsibilities

Lead quality of teaching and learning in Grades 9–10 through MYP implementation.
Ensure curricular coherence across Grades 9–10 and Stamford 9–10 courses.
Oversee assessment, reporting, and student progress aligned with IB MYP standards.
Lead Professional Development and coaching for faculty using High-Impact Teaching Strategies.
