Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an HVAC Engineer to join a leading global EPC and engineering & construction company.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC professional to work on a highly technical, mission-critical project environment, with exposure to complex HVAC systems and large-scale industrial facilities.

About the Role:

The position is suited to an HVAC engineer who is hands-on with HVAC systems and drawings and is comfortable working across both engineering and site execution.

You will be involved in HVAC system design, equipment selection, load calculations, ducting and piping design, airflow analysis, installation supervision, testing and commissioning. You will also work closely with contractors, vendors, consultants and clients throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for large-scale industrial and critical facilities
• Prepare, review and work hands-on with HVAC drawings, ducting and piping layouts
• Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment selection and airflow analysis
• Support projects from concept and design through construction and commissioning
• Supervise HVAC installation and site activities
• Conduct and support HVAC testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and clients
• Support authority inspections and project handover
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning
• Ensure works comply with relevant Singapore requirements, codes and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong hands-on HVAC engineering experience
• Experience working with HVAC drawings (hands-on) and site installation
• Experience in testing and commissioning is highly advantageous
• Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors and clients
• Comfortable working independently in a site-based environment
