Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ working experience in RHVAC systems, preferably in the marine industry.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycle theory and components.

Job description

• Designing of refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (RHVAC) system, site project survey, inspection and cost estimation, preparation of materials listing, drawings, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Closely work and liaise with the Commercial & Sales Department and the Operation Department on projects that require the involvement of both these departments.
• Preparation of quotations for RHVAC projects.
• Provide technical support to the field works that include but not limited to the air-conditioning, ventilation, heating, electrical and automation system, mechanical and general.

A) Technical survey and inspection, survey report writing, materials listing, equipment selection, quantification and identification.

B) Technical support to field work coordination.

• Heat load calculation and air duct system design.
• Project coordination between worksite, office, clients and suppliers.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years’ working experience in RHVAC systems preferrably in marine industry.
• Has in-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycle theory, line components, circuit flushing, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing and vacuuming.
• Good written and verbal communication and coaching skills.
