MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer (Training Provided/ entry-level) in Singapore. The role focuses on site surveys, system design and optimization, and supporting tenders with technical solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and has 1+ year of relevant experience. Certifications such as BCA Energy Auditor or GMAP/ GMAAP are a plus, with strong ACMV design and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferably sustainability-related).
• 1 year or above of relevant experience (entry-level accepted).
• Good to have certifications: BCA Energy Auditor, GMAP/GMAAP, SCEM.
• Strong ACMV design, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements and constraints.
• Develop and optimise system designs, including equipment sizing, selection, and configuration.
• Perform simulations to evaluate design options for efficiency, cost, and operational feasibility.
• Support Business Development by providing technical solutions for tenders and proposals.
• Conduct Green Mark gap analysis and recommend improvements to achieve certification targets.
• Prepare and submit applications for approvals, legislations, and grants on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent and project requirements.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to clients, internal teams, and management.
• Identify opportunities to improve design processes and best practices.
